What is HelpGram.com?

If we had to describe modern day culture in one sentence it would say, "Too much information, too little time." At HelpGram we considered the profound consequences of information overload, particularly on quality of life. Today's truths are obscured by a steady stream of factoids and Internet spread rumors. These get in the way of crucial information and jeopardize the ways we take care of our health, pursue our careers, protect our families, and live our everyday lives. Written by experts in their fields, HelpGrams are designed to facilitate the communication of helpful information between experts and you and between you and your family, friends, and co-workers.  The communication of this helpful information is intended to function as a prevention tool for many of life's problems and can be used to express a sense of caring between you and the recipient.  By alerting people to the resources at their disposal for dealing with many of life's problems, HelpGrams assist in promoting positive well-being and caring on the web. HelpGram.com is the premier source for caring e-cards with helpful information, offering hundreds of HelpGrams on a wide range of topics.

What Is the Goal of HelpGram.com?

The primary goal of HelpGram.com is to provide users with an effective means for accessing and sharing helpful information with themselves and their family, friends, and coworkersAnother important goal is to help support non-profit organizations actively working in these arenas. The HelpGram format is consistent throughout every HelpGram: they provide a brief expert overview; concise and useful bits of information; links to related Web sites with more in-depth information as well as links to related HelpGrams; a listing of recommended books; and links to related products and services. A related goal of HelpGram is to provide experts with opportunity and a platform. Experts can reach a wider audience, enlighten the public, influence debate, all while publicizing their practice and the services they are able to provide.

HelpGram Inc. Provides More Than Just Online HelpGrams To Its Users

As HelpGram grows, we plan to expand into customized corporate publishing, a snail mail HelpGram package, and eventually a series of HelpGram books and postcards. A series of HelpGram books and postcards will be available in the coming months.

Who Uses HelpGram.com?

HelpGram President Dr. Daniel Fisher, a licensed clinical and consulting psychologist, founded the company in response to his observation that people often missed out on opportunities for personal growth or disease prevention because the healthcare industry, as well as their family, friends, and coworkers were unable to communicate relevant helpful information to them in an effective way.  After in-depth conversations with professional colleagues and friends, he and colleague Dr. Alfredo Bimbela, and Ron Papanek determined that the need for a brief, caring, helpful information card was desired by men and women across almost all ethnic, age, and socio-economic demographics. HelpGrams are for anyone looking to send a message of support and caring through practical helpful information. A Spanish version will be introduced in the near future as well.

What is the HelpGram Business Model?

HelpGram, Inc. generates its revenue from advertising, e-commerce and content licensing. The company has a two-part business model: business-to-consumer and business-to-business. Its business-to-consumer strategy is to provide the most sophisticated and comprehensive listing of clearly-written and easy-to-follow helpful information, as well as provide the most helpful products and services necessary to achieve the desired goal. Its business-to-business strategy is to provide companies opportunities to brand, inform, and sell to targeted, qualified consumers interested in their products at the exact moment they are considering a purchase.  The company is also focused on the off-line publication of helpful information books and corporate newsletters.

HelpGram.com will offer direct links and directions to relevant shopping opportunities on each topic at our HelpGoods.com e-commerce site. HelpGram.com will also bring together its community of users by encouraging them to contribute their own helpful information to the site, share tips and stories for various topic entries, and take part in supporting related non-profit organizations, which receive a sizable portion of advertising and e-commerce related revenues.

The merger of commerce and content provides a robust user experience and the best possible scenario for both consumers and retail partners. With HelpGram.com, users are immediately directed to several purchase and service options on our HelpGoods.com site, and can choose to send helpful gifts to their intended recipients as well.  HelpGram.com becomes a one-stop destination for users wanting to find helpful information on a relevant topic while offering retailers and service providers a way to inform and sell to targeted customers at the exact moment of consumer interest.
